Preserving the beauty and styling of the E-Type is at the forefront of the new Electric E-Type. The new modern electric drivetrain has been installed discreetly leaving owners and fans alike to admire the untouched classic styling. The fully reversible conversion maintains the authenticity of the Jaguar E-Type, while the electric drivetrain complements the original E-Type design and engineering.
The EV-Type feels and looks like an E-Type, and with upgraded brakes, steering and suspension working in tune with the electric drivetrains effortless torque and power, it also performs like an E-Type should.
Bespoke Electric Power
A 60kwh Battery pack is split into two packs. The main pack sitting where the original XK Engine was housed and a smaller pack in place of the fuel tank.
The electric motor is in place of the original gearbox and has a reduction box built into the motor which has a speed of upto 15,000 rpm and an output torque of 900Nm.
A new prop shaft delivers power to a freshly built differential with modern LSD.
With no gearbox you simply select Forward or Reverse via a ‘gear’ lever positioned exactly where the original E-Type leaver was.
Electrifying Performance
With instant torque our EV-Type with electric power delivers exhilarating acceleration. Electric power steering makes manoeuvring the car at slower speeds effortless. Enhanced braking system working with the regenerative braking from the motor allows the electric E-Type to slow down with ease.
Careful design to help maintain the original weight balance of the E-Type, tied in with adjustable suspension with uprated shock absorbers, this provides the electric E-Type with a firm but compliant ride, making the car feel perfectly balanced and giving the driver the confidence to push that little more.
There is up to a 250-mile range and the option of fast charging 0-80% in as little as 1hr you can enjoy trips around the city or scenic runs around the county.
